Welcome back to another monthly photo diary - and what an eventful month May has been. Probably the best month of the year so far, definitely partly to do with the fact it included two bank holiday weekends. Plus for the most part, we've seen some warmer weather! It seems I've been extra snap happy this month and I love all the pictures I've taken, it makes me happy to look back over them and remember all the things I've been up to.

I've had a couple of days off to do fun stuff like going to the spa and a trip to sunny London (for a job interview, which I'll update you on in my next post) so I've had a nice work/life balance. My best friend from Dubai was on leave for half of May and spent loads of time in Leeds, so it was great to catch up with her. Then I also had the chance to see my uni pals and school friends over the bank holidays for lots of eating and drinking in the sunshine.

The warmer weather and lighter evenings mean I've actually been running again and I really want to keep it up, I'm tempted to sign up for an half marathon to kick myself into gear. It's so much easier to go outside when it's not dark and freezing cold, and there's a chance to see so many lovely sunsets (I'm a bit obsessed with them).

There's lots going on in June, I'm going to save all the juicy details for a little update post so keep your eyes peeled for that. It's all very exciting - if you follow me on twitter you'll already know the big news but if not, I'll share it soon. I can't believe we're now half way through the year! Let me know what you're plans are for summer in the comments.

  3. I am in love with your photos! That one of the pink car is too cute. I'm also so happy the warmer months are creeping around the corner, as I can't wait to get my hands on a virgin Pina Colada! For me, watching the sunsets and sunrises never fail to make me happy- and when you're with friends it's even better. Sounds like you had such a great month, lovely x
