Lust List: Winter Boots

When people ask me whether I prefer summer or winter I really struggle to reply. I love sunshine, being tanned, bright summer evenings and wearing sunglasses but I also love being warm inside the house when the evenings draw in earlier, wearing huge scarves and most of all buying a new winter coat and boots.

This year I feel like I have received more emails than ever before of super deals from literally all of my favourite shops which makes life exceedingly hard when I am sat at work checking my emails - my wage is spent before it even arrives!

I've devised a list of my top 5 current favourites to help you make an informed boot-buying decision, (pair number 1 will be mine when I take advantage of my sister's student status at the Leeds Trinity student lock-in this Tuesday).

August

August according to my iPhone

Good breakfasts
Eating out way too often
Celebrating a lot of 21st birthdays - mine included
Adding the finishing touches to my (not so new) bedroom
Admiring my new birthday bling
Short but sweet trip to Ibiza
The first of (hopefully) many business trips to London
Flowers brightening up the flat
Summer sunsets
Drinking too much wine (and cocktails and prosecco)
Exploring more of my lovely little town

I don't know about you but the month of August seemed to pass in the blink of an eye! For me it was the busiest month of the year and with a 21st birthday celebration every weekend from the beginning of July to the end of August I am now partied out.

As much as I've loved indulging in naughty food and drinking slightly more than recommended, I'm 100% ready for a detox till the start of the festive season.

I hope you all had a lovely August and enjoyed the last of the British summer. I can't help but be excited about the darker nights because it means I can hibernate after work with a hot chocolate and Netflix (partly because after this summer I can't afford to do anything else - but it was worth it).
