June according to my iPhone
My last few weeks in Leeds
Goodbye drinks and welcome drinks
Enjoying a few days off
Sunshine (at last!)
Moving into a new flat
So, this post is well overdue! I'm aware we're now half way through July so I almost didn't bother with my monthly round-up, but I haven't missed one yet and don't want to start now. It's also nice for me to look back on each month and reminisce all of the fun stuff I might have forgotten about.
June saw a major life change in the form of the big move to London and starting my new job. I can't believe I've already been here for four weeks, but at the same time, it also feels like I've been here forever. I know lots of people warned me that settling in London can be really hard and take a while to get used to but luckily, I haven't felt like that at all. I love my job and my flat is great so there's really nothing I could complain about (apart from the noisiest neighbours living in the flat above).
As you may have been able to tell, there's been a fair few opportunities for cocktails. It's great that lots of my friends are already down here, as it means there's always something to do and somebody to see. Even better now the sun has (kind of) started to make an appearance.
I have a feeling that I'll have to reign in my social life for the rest of July, which may be something to do with booking an impromptu trip to Ibiza that'll require some sort of spending money. I can't wait for some time away in the sun with my pals, I might even get the time to read an actual book so send some suggestions my way!
