What I got for Christmas 2015

I'm aware that these kind of posts are controversial. Some people love them, some people hate them but I, for one, love having a nosey at what other people have been buying or received as a gift. I'm also aware that Christmas has now been and gone but better late than never, right?

The Christmas period for me is about catching up with friends, spending quality time with my family and eating like a queen (I'm currently suffering from cheeseboard withdrawal symptoms). Personally I feel like getting presents on Christmas day is just a bonus - I know everyone says that but it's true. As you get older, especially if you've lost certain loved ones or moved out of the family home, you really appreciate any time that you spend with your family all together.

I was so lucky this year and feel compelled to say this isn't a post to brag about my presents so if you feel that way then feel free to head on out. I asked for a few bits - mainly gym clothes, a new skincare set and an electric toothbrush (wild, I know) - and the rest were all lovely surprises. I've not included everything as some presents are still at my parents house and I've also done some sale shopping with my Christmas money but I'm planning to include my purchases in another post.

I hope you all had a lovely Christmas and New Year filled with food, fun and a few festive gin's (or tipple of your preference) and if you don't celebrate Christmas I hope you still enjoyed relaxing the festive period.

Socks - the Christmas essential obvs.

What did you get for Christmas? Let me know in the comments.

    1. I know! My Dad is always clueless about the presents my mum buys us (from them both) so a few years ago me and my sister challenged him to go out and choose one present each just from him. The reindeer charm was this year's x

    1. I know - I don't want to eat it! Haha. Oh really? That's strange, possibly because I changed my URL. Thanks for letting me know I'll check it out and follow you instead. Hope you had a lovely Christmas xx
