March

March according to my iPhone

Attending more blogger events
Exploring the Yorkshire countryside
KAWS at the Yorkshire Sculpture Park
Witnessing a pug meet-up (amazing)
A trip to the seaside
One chilled bank holiday weekend
Celebrating lots of birthdays
The start of brighter and longer evenings

Once again I can't believe how fast the end of the month came around (I say that, but waiting for pay day at the end of the five week month felt like the longest wait ever!). I think it's more the fact that it's already April, when it feels like Christmas has only just been.

I had another busy month but it was filled with all of the fun stuff like birthdays, friend visits and the Easter bank holiday weekend. It was really nice to catch up with my uni friends and try out the new Turtle Bay in Leeds then to see all of my old school friends for a day at the seaside. I've also been running again and trying my best to go to the gym before work. I was stuck in such a slump and had no motivation to get up and do exercise, so I'm feeling loads better for being more active.

March was the first month where I felt like I attended loads of blogger events and it was so much fun meeting new people and putting faces to names. I'll admit that I haven't started off on the best blogging foot so far this month, as I've only managed to get one post up - shoddy I know. I've got loads of ideas for new posts and love sitting down to write but I haven't given myself time to get them done. I don't know how some people find the time to work a full-time job, write a blog AND film and edit YouTube videos as well as having a social life - I salute you!

I'm going to London on Monday which is the start of a long stint of working down there over the next few weeks. It does mean I'll miss out on the gym and it might be harder to blog but I'm looking forward to staying with friends that I haven't seen for a while. I'm planning to drag them out for a run now the evenings are lighter (we all know sunny evenings result in after-work drinks and not running but it's the thought that counts). I'm also going to a few more blogger events this month when I'm back in Leeds and I'm going to organise my time to make sure I start posting more regularly.

What have you got planned this month?

  1. Is that Ilkley Moors there or somewhere else? I love Leeds but haven't had the chance to venture out much while I've been studying there. I managed to get to the Moors a few months ago though and it was so, so beautiful! Albeit very windy...
