Kiehl's Christmas Gift Set

Having spent the last few years living as a student with no disposable income and scrimping on certain luxuries like skincare, you can imagine my excitement when I received this early Christmas gift on Friday. I've never used any Kiehl's products before so to unwrap this box of goodies was a big treat! It was packaged beautifully with the dried flowers scattered inside the box around the products - in fact it looked so pretty that I don't want to throw it away.

As this was a gift I'm not sure if this is a set that you can purchase from Kiehl's or whether the products were specifically chosen but I received; Creme de Corps Soy Milk and Honey Body Polish, Creme de Corps Body Moisturiser, Nourishing Olive Fruit Oil Shampoo and Conditioner, Ultimate Strength Hand Salve and samples of Power Strength Line Reducing Concentrate and Ultra Facial Moisturiser.

Nourishing Olive Fruit Oil Conditioner
A lightweight, easily rinsed conditioner for dry and damaged hair. This conditioner detangles and helps restore a healthy look to hair, leaving it smooth and shiny without weighing it down. Contains Olive Fruit Oil, Avocado Oil and lemon extract to hydrate, lock in moisture and promote shine.

Nourishing Olive Fruit Oil Shampoo
A mild yet rich and creamy for dry, under-nourished hair. Nourishes and hydrates hair as it gently cleanses, leaving hair manageable, supple and full of shine. Contains Olive Fruit Oil, Avocado Oil and lemon extract to hydrate, lock in moisture and promote shine.

The shampoo and conditioner set is the perfect size to fit in my gym bag and I can't wait to try them out. My hair has really improved in condition over the past two years as I tend to straighten it less and have stopped dying it often but I'm still always on the lookout for the perfect conditioner for dry ends.

Creme de Corps
A rich non-greasy, hydrating body moisturiser. Enriched with the finest skin-nurturing ingredients known to Kiehl's for a rich, elegant skin texture. Leaves skin smooth, soft and beautifully moisturised.

I was super happy when I saw this as I've heard lots of people people raving about it but haven't actually used it before. My mum has drilled into my head from a young age how important it is to take good care of your skin so I always try and invest in a nice body moisturiser as a treat or ask for a set for Christmas. I'm looking forward to trying this sample size as I can then go on to purchase a bigger one if I like it.

Ultimate Strength Hand Salve
All-day care for severely dry, active hands. This moisturising hand cream is a thick, rich formula offering all-day care and protection to hands.

Perfect for Winter now the weather is starting to get colder as my hands are always affected. Lots of the girls in the office swear by this hand cream and always keep a bottle to hand on their desk's so I'm sure it will soon become a staple product.

Creme de Corps Soy Milk and Honey Body Polish
A luxurious, creamy and scented exfoliating cleanser. Nurtures skin with Pure Honey and Soy Milk protein. Leaves skin suitably soft, smooth and primed for moisturiser.

This is the only product I've tried out so far and I loved it. It really did leave my skin feeling soft and the bottle states it is gentle enough for every day use however I think I'll try to use it twice a week as I don't want it to run out really fast!

Ultra Facial Moisturiser
A 24-hr daily face moisturiser. This moisturiser helps reduce moisture loss while drawing and absorbing moisture from the air. With continuous moisture replenishment throughout the day this product leave skin feeling smooth, soft and healthy looking.

Powerful-Strength Line-Reducing Concentrate
Powerful anti-wrinkle treatment with 105% Vitamin C. Clinically-demonstrated to improve overall skin texture, tone and radiance while reducing the appearance of lines and wrinkles. Provides anti-oxidant protection and exfoliates skin to reveal healthier looking skin.

I have really oily skin so I'm a little bit apprehensive about trying these samples as rich, oily products tend to break me out. Luckily due to the fact I'm only 21 and seem to have inherited my dad's youthful looking skin I don't have any lines to reduce yet so this one I might see if my mum wants to test. I'll definitely give the facial moisturiser a go and hope it agrees with my skin as this is another product I'm always on the hunt for.

I think you'll agree that this was such a generous present from my lovely managers - I know some people don't get anything so we're all really lucky. Let me know below if you're a Kiehl's fan and which products are your favourite!
