What a lovely month April was. Busy, pretty hectic and pretty stressful but all in all a really fun month. I spent a lot of time in London as we had loads of events going on for different clients, so the majority of the month was spent bed-hopping from one friends house to another. Obviously it was lovely to spend time with the girls and go out for lots of nice dinners but I'm happy to be back in my flat for a few weeks of normality. The downside of work trips is that I eat loads of indulgent food and can't go to the gym, so being back means I can do a proper food shop and get back into an exercise routine.

One lesson I learnt in April was that gourmet hot dogs and champagne is one of the best combinations ever! If you're ever in central London and can't decide where to go for dinner, I 100% recommend trying Bubbledogs, I had the Mac Daddy and it was delicious. After our visit there I ended up on a very impromptu trip to the Good Ship Benefit, it was so much fun and an I definitely won't forget the experience for a while. I took quite a few pictures on our tour of the ship so I might actually do a post showing you a sneak peek.

Over the past week the weather has taken a dramatic change for the better so I'm crossing my fingers and toes that it's staying for good! I love being able to wear a little jacket and dust off my sunglasses - I'm definitely a summer girl. Hopefully the sun will be around for the second May bank holiday, as my uni friends and I have planned a full weekend of festivities in Leeds and I'm really looking forward to it. What do you have planned?
